We shall continue on this series on Tithing.
Jesus Christ never tempered with law of tithing,the law is there and needs to be obeyed. But I want to dwell on common reasons to pay tithes.
1, Love for GOD, House of GOD and Servants of GOD. To show your love for someone is to spend your money,your time shower gifts and materials on the person.
2, The House of GOD must not lack meat, they must not be hunger in GOD'S House. Because GOD will fights the land and withdraw the power to wealth.
3, Churches are self-funded and has no government or cooperate sponsorships.
4, Churches bear enormous responsibilities. payments of salaries to pastors and workers alike,provisions of needs and requirements to widows orphans and strangers, giving scholarships to orphans, loan to widows, pay bills and utilities,pay rents and statutory charges,maintenance of church facilities and infrastructures,amid other operational cost. etc.
